Look around you. Feel the warm breathe of the air. Lend your ears to the struggling o f the ocean waves. Taste the tanning heat of the sun. Smell the breeze of nature. What have you observed? Do they remain as how they are before?
With an undaunted mind, one could say, “nothing much has changed”. But as we went through reaching the deepest and most intimate part of things, we could wholly understand Mother Earth’s genuine message   to humanity. A message that gives warnings and intimidation that if not given much attention can cause a great environmental destruction. HUMANITY! Yes, humanity. Men are created by God to take good care of His creation. Thus, men should be responsible enough to handle such task. The answer rests in the hands of men to clear up the worldwide dilemma.
Pollutants all over! – Dirty emissions from automobiles, from factories, improper disposal of wastes, aerosol sprays, harmful chemicals and more. All these together had made one major problem known today as global warming. Global warming is a condition wherein there is an abnormal heating of the earth’s surface due to the abundance of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere that traps the heat of the sun and prevents it from escaping. These in turn, causes a chain of much more problems that we should be aware of.
One alarming truth these days is the dramatic melting down of glaciers due to global warming. Large parts of the world’s glaciers melt everyday. This melting down of ice can eventually lead to another serious problem in the ecosystem. Animals living in glaciers will loss their habitat and can therefore alter their natural way of living. Branched problem may also occur like the gradual increase of water level which if not taken seriously could cause the loss of human and animal habitats in low-land areas.
