Over the last four years of high school I have strived to go above and beyond what has been expected of me. It is important to me that I always give my best effort whenever I attempt something. Whether it is academics or extracurricular activities, I always try to make the best out of what is given to me.
In the past few years, I was able to make myself better in school, sports, and as a person. It all started with my parents pushing me to receive good grades in class. I knew developing good study habits would help me achieve their wish. Although studying every night would be tough while participating in three sports, it quickly helped me as a person with learning time management skills. Doing this helped me become a more rounded person and become a better role model for others as I progress through the years.
I believe that my hard work and determination in sports has made me more disciplined not only in school, but also in life. Sports have helped me strive to be the best not only on the field, but also in the classroom. I have worked to be the best by doing what was expected of me right away, instead of procrastinating. This is accredited to the time management skills that have helped me become what I am today.
All the work that I have put into high school has paid off, as I am about to choose further educational opportunities. Even though things may get tough, I will be able to get things done to the best of my ability and exceed what is expected of me. As I finish up my high school career, I hope that all that was learned stays with me as I go on to a new learning experience in college.
