How To Break It
“Gimme a break, Gimme a break, break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar. That chocolaty taste is going to make your day. Everywhere you go you hear the people say Gimme a break Gimme a break break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar.

In this advertisement sense of logic were used effectively based on the title how to break it. For example the ad shows many different ways that the consumer can break their candy. In this Kit-Kat ad ethos was used well. It gives the consumer an imagination about the many different ways to break a Kit-Kat bar. For instance there’s a boy in one of the pictures using a hammer to break his candy. In the next photo there is a girl using karate to break her bar. Then there is an image of a boy in a steamroller getting ready to roll over is Kit-Kat. The last photo in this ad is “you” letting the consumer know that you are able to use your own hands to break it. This advertisement came across as a humorous one with pictures, showing many different ways to break a Kit-Kat bar. In particular the facial expression on the character is silly ones. To illustrate there is one picture were the boys eye are really big and his tongue is hanging out of his mouth. The other photos the kids eye are open wide their hair styles are wild looking and they all have big smiles on their faces. In conclusion this ad was clearly targeted towards young people age (7-12). The Character in the advertisement look about that age ,plus the different silly ideas like using a hammer, steamroller, karate on the candy plus their silly facial expression on the character faces.
