Introduction

Schizophrenia is a psychological disorder that affects many people’s lives. Though most of the general public has heard of this disorder, they may not be familiar with all of its facets. Does the average person know the youngest age that one can develop this brain disorder? Do they know how Schizophrenia is treated or the hallmark symptoms? This research paper will explain facts such as who’s at risk, how many people are diagnosed every year, and will explain the most common ending result of this horrific pestilence; while giving the reader factual evidence on the history, research, causes and symptoms, medication and other treatments, and finally the diagnoses along with the various types of schizophrenia. History of Schizophrenia
