The study was carried out at Hotel Ramada Powai Mumbai. The study is related to the JOB SATISFACTION and other FACTOR which affect the job satisfaction of employees at workplace. A survey was taken among the employees to know their various working attributes in Hotel Ramada Powai Mumbai. The required data to study the interest level of the employees has been collected as primary, secondary data using a questionnaire from a sample of 50 employees, which the sampling was on the basis of convenience and non-probabilistic sampling procedure. The collected data was edited, coded, classified and tabulated further statistically analysed using various statistical tools., From analysed data both general findings and statistical findings were posted, thereby deriving suggestions and recommendations. This study will help us to know which factor plays important role to satisfy employees at workplace. I am greatly Thankful to H.R. Manager and Assistant HR. Manager Mr of Hotel Ramada Powai, Mumbai to allow me to take such survey in their organisation.

Ramada Powai Hotel & Convention Centre is one of the 5 star hotel property works under WYNDHAM WORLD WIDE, owned by Nikhil Raheja under Shrayu Group of properties’ situated at Saki Vihar road, Powai Mumbai .its providing all facilities such as food, accomdation,etc to their guest also offering Conference and get together at their Convention centre. This organization having Different departments such as Food Production ,Food & Beverages Service, Front Office, Housekeeping, Human Recourse, Stores, Sales & Marketing, Accounts, Engineering etc so Employees working in such departments having different skills sets and belonging to different Personalities ,so management plays a crucial role to bring them under one roof and work for common goal that is maximum Guests Satisfaction. Management of Hotel divide the Employees Department into two category i.e. Front work areas Department which directly related with guest and other one is Back House Department who relates to provide indirectly services to guest and management provide Training to such department accordingly to improve their Personality and Skills required for them to perform their job proficiently. this organization works on 24 7 basis so employees need to works in rotational shifts which might require to work them for over time also they have to work on special occasion so they have to adjust their values for theirs social life.

Job satisfaction is in regard to one's feelings or state-of-mind regarding the nature of their work. Job satisfaction can be influenced by a variety of factors, e.g., the quality of one's relationship with their supervisor, the quality of the physical environment in which they work, degree of fulfilment in their work, etc. There is no strong acceptance among researchers, consultants, etc., that increased job satisfaction produces improve job performance, in fact, and improved job satisfaction can sometimes decrease job performance.
