“Solider of Nonviolence”

1. There has been more than 500 books written about the life and thoughts of Mohandas Gandhi. This tells us that he was a very influential man in our society 2. an intensely joyful man who instigated a movement based on suffering without limit. 3. Satyagraha is the word that describes Gandhi’s philosophy 4. He rejected paths to truth that focused only on personal salvation or individual enlightenment. And the only path to truth is the path of non-violence. 5. Nonviolence is the supreme litmus test for truth, he discounted any moral or religious system that failed to value the principle of nonviolence. Nonviolence involves the resister to renounce violence in though word and deed, but without a supernatural courage and a willingness to endure great personal sacrifice, it is not possible to adhere to the way of non-violence. 6. Nonviolence in its dynamic condition means conscious suffering. It does not mean meek submission to the will of the evil-doer, but it means putting ones whole soul against the will of the tyrant. I agree that non-violence is also the way of suffering, because to accomplish non-violence, you have to sacrifice a lot, which I also believe is suffering, you begin to suffer without the things you have to accomplish the thing the world needs. 7. I believe people choose nonviolence to solve our problems in the world because it’s the safest way to agree on what is best for everyone. If people are unwilling to abide by the world they live in, then non-violence is the option to change what needs to be changed without any violence or death. 8. I believe that change can happen through non-violence, although I believe that it also depends on the situation that there fighting for. An example would be people who protest animal rights, through non-violent ways , people have been able to accomplish rights for animals that cant speak for themselves. 9.
