CHAPTER I. THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

STUDY
In this study the researchers is building a scientific names quiz battle to progress the mind of the students who are taking any of the courses which are related with Science or specifically Biology. Other students have difficulty in reviewing on their subject matter so that is why, the researchers do this game to practice the brain of the student, to refresh their minds and at the same time they are enjoying it because they play and learn at the same time.

INTRODUCTION
Games have always been a means to leisurely spend one time. They provide fun and enjoyment to every player who play the game and to the people who are watching and know how to play the game. Although some of the game are done for the sake of enjoyment and fun, but there are some games that requires more physical and logical thinking to win to the game.
There are lot of games that every people can choose and play in order for him to be entertained. One can choose online games, physical games or mental games. Some players choose game by their strength and not by their weaknesses. For example, one can choose mental games if he can think fast or he can think logically. One class of games that are many are into are the board games. There are also different kinds of board games that ones can play; some of this are chess, checkers and backamon. Playing games like this aims to develop your logical thinking capacity.
Digital games have the potential to take the skills and learning capabilities of the learner at hand into account, by reacting to them and adapting the game based on reactions and behaviour of the player. If these issues are taken into account, the education process will be more personalized. We call this personalized adaptive e-learning. Studies show that personalized learning trajectories result in more efficient learning curves.
