Two Day Live – In Training on Gender and Development for Teaching Personnel and School Administrator
NARATIVE REPORT
In consortium with the school heads of Makilas National High School, Taway and Bakalan National High School, A Gender Advocacy and Development Seminal was conducted last December 16 and 17, 2014 at Dakak, Beach Resort, Dapitan City with the following objectives;
1. To orient teachers on Gender and Development
2. To enhance awareness on bullying in workplaces
3. To provide teachers strategies on financial and stress management
4. To enrich one’s outlook in life through lecture on life’s purpose.

The said activity was opened by Mrs. Riza D. Morados the school head of Makilas National High school giving the purpose of the affair through her rationale. Her discussion focused on the pressing need of social equality, fairness and the need of awareness in making the school a healthy and bully free institution.
The First speaker was Mrs. Carmelita Siano the school head of Taway National High School discussed about “Twelve Rules of Being Human Being,” she stressed on some important advices as to how to live life in a more deep and meaningful way.
The next speaker is Mr. Noel Mark M. Torralba a faculty of Makilas National High School talked about “Bullying in the Workplace” he stressed the possibility of workplace bullying, its manifestations and how to resolve if such is happening or will be happening in the respective stations.
Gender and Development and Stress Management topics were later tackled by Mrs. Riza D. Morados the school Head of Makilas National High School. Her discussion on Gender and Development revolved around the idea that

    Our focus of the topic is to analyze the problem and how we – League of World Social Health Organization, under the leadership of United Nations help to cope with this problem. I am the CEO of the organization and am responsible for introducing the topic – bullying to the audience and the 5 basic questions of bullying. Personalities of the bully are the opposite of the victims; such as being submissive as a victim and possessive as a bully. The purpose of outlining the significant of the bully and the victim is to arouse the attention of audience and identify whether people beside you have the similar problem. The earlier the discovery of these problems, the easier to reach the solution. The stage is then passed on to Anson, who is the manager of our team. His job is to show the short term and long term effect of bulling, with the resolution to pin-point. Last but not least, I will be doing the wrap-up of the whole presentation – call for action. We believe that the problem – bullying is still there if we don’t fix it, yet if we could take the first step or stop bullying, more victims will be revealed and minimized the impact on society. “Where…
