My different types of friends
Thesis: My friends can be categorized in three different ways: some know what they want to do with life, others are still figuring out what they want to do, and a lot of them have no indication of wanting to succeed
Friends in the first category are the ones that know what they want to do with their life and have a plan for their future. This category of friends has always had a blueprint for their future and they are always ready for what is going to come next in their life. My friends that have planned for the future are attending college, interning, and setting goals for after college. For instance, a perfect example of this friend type would be my friend that attends Cal Poly as an engineer major; her life has always been set on getting a college education and making a steady income for the future. Furthermore, these types of friends don’t like to take risks that will jeopardize what comes next in their plan, and they never do any spontaneous acts. I consider this category of friends as the ones that only do what is followed in their list for the future. For the most part this category of friends can be a great role model for another friend because they do encourage others to look ahead. For example when I see my other friends that don’t plan ahead as much as this category of friends, a lot of the time they give some thought to what they want to do with their future. In the long run this category of friends are the most respected due to their motivated attitude towards their plans and what they want to do with their life.
The next category of my friends is the ones that are still figuring out what they want to do because they never did put too much thought into their future. This category of friends is the ones that are working to have nice possessions and college was considered the backup plan if all else fails.
