The Federal Government consists of three major branches and they each play a different part within the government. They help create systems in order to determine what is better and why. They want to make sure that there is enough information gathered in order to make the best decision for the country. There is always a different viewpoint depending on who is President, but just because he has the power doesn’t mean that everything will change due to the Congress who has the say and vote. If certain issues aren’t passed; than the President has to go back to square one and try to make congress understand where he is coming from with the plan that he wants to put into place.

Politics within the United States takes place with the President and then trickles down through the Congress and those who have judiciary shared federal powers. These three legislative branches where created in order to protect everyone’s freedom and prevent the government from abusing their power. This is why they created three different branches in order to reach their goal. The first is the Legislative branch which consists of the two houses of Congress; the Senate and the House of Representatives. Their most important duty is to make sure that the laws are written and discussed and then voted upon in order to make the legal. The Executive Branch is the one where the laws are made official since the President is the Head of this branch. The President can approve and carry out the laws or not depending on how he sees fit. This branch has fifteen major departments and they all give their opinion and advice to the president on important matters. The Judicial Branch is the one that oversees the Court System within the United States and they are headed up by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is the one that determines whether something is constitutional or unconstitutional. Their decisions are final and no one can overrule them.
