Functions of Management
Every organization has a mission and goals to accomplish. In order for the organization to reach this goal the company must implement its own management concepts. The basic functions of management are broken down into four different areas. This allows the organization to handle the strategic, tactical and operational decisions for the organization. The four functions of management are: planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. Planning

“Planning is the core area of all the functions of management. Planning requires management to evaluate where the company is currently, and where it would like to be in the future. Organizing is the second function of management.
