INTRODUCTION

This is our project for the course BKAF3063 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING III.
Beginning January 1, 2010, majority of the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) were amended in response to convergence with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) which will be fully implemented in 2012.
Our group will continue with the project based on five listed company in Bursa Malaysia annual report as bellow :
1.HO HUP CONSTRUCTION COMPANY BERHAD
2.TRADEWINDS COPORATION BERHAD
3.KONSORTIUM TRANSIONAL BERHAD
4.DUTCH LADY MILK INDUSTRIES BERHAD
5.SUNWAY CITY BERHAD

We are going to Identify and list the disclosure requirement as per FRSs for FRS3, 117, 128, 136 (para. 126 only), 138 (para. 118, 122 & 124 only) and 140 (para. 75 only) and analyze the compliance level for each of them.

BACKGROUND OF COMPANIES
HO HUP CONSTRUCTION COMPANY BERHAD

Ho Hup Construction Company was co-founded in 1960 by Mr Low Chee. It has grown to become one of the largest companies in construction and related services in Malaysia.
On 25th February 1991, Ho Hup became a Public Public Limited Company listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia. This significant step has led to the birth of the name of Ho Hup Construction Company Berhad.
