Interpersonal Relationship and Friendship
Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies. We're born alone, we live alone and we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone. It is a very mysterious relationship that God create for human and it is one of the most important components in human life. It is as easy as ABC when it comes to find and make friends. Yet, it is not easy to manage a high-quality friendship. According to Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, friendship is a relationship between friends; the feeling or relationship that friends have; the state of being friends. However, an insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind. Here, I totally disagree with the statement that friendship is the most valuable thing in life as there are certainly more significant and priceless thing than friendship. In this essay, I will summarize how life itself is more valuable than friendship and expound why health, family and individual’s principle in life are at the upper rank.

First and foremost, healthy is considered first before one enjoys the beauty of friendship as health is the most basic yet major asset that will make our life complete. Try to imagine that you are a disabled person, who is blind, deaf, or even dumb and obviously lack of a healthy body, the quality of your life is totally reduced. Even the power and strength of the friendship cannot bring back and make us healthy anymore. This may lead to the failure in create a colourful and splendid life. Without good health is exactly a stumbling block in life, without it you cannot do anything. Though friends show their love in times of trouble not in happiness, health is still the most important asset in our lives.

Secondly, we are no one without our family as indeed blood is thicker than water. Family is one of the nature’s masterpieces. Andre Maurois quoted “without family,

Friendship is a blessing, and a friend is the channel through whom great emotional, spiritual, and sometimes even physical blessings flow. Friends can cheer us when we 're sorrowful or depressed. Friends can challenge us when we allow ourselves to get beyond our reasonable boundaries. Friends can motivate us when we 're ready to give in, and they can provide for us when life falls apart. They are there when all is well, and we want someone with whom to share life 's pleasant and memorable moments. We often just want them around to have a good time, to laugh, to act silly; to enjoy some mutually liked activity. In how many ways have friends enriched…

Friendship is a virtue or at least involves virtue. Friendship is always a special thing but people tend to forget about how much its value is. Friendship is not just necessary, but also noble.Friendship consists of goodwill between two people. You can only have a few friends being that its take some precious time to build a real friendship. Aristotle’s speaks about how there are three kinds of friendship. The first is friends of utility, where both people receive some benefit from each other. Aristotle believed that this is the type of friendship that is for the old. Aristotle argued that they “are at such a time of life pursue not what is pleasant but what is beneficial.” The second is friends of pleasure, where both people are attracted to each other, good looks, or other their pleasant qualities all together . aristotles says this friendship is for the young. Aristotle argues that the young because “...quickly become friends and quickly stop...” and “...love and stop loving quickly...” The third is friends of excellence, where both people admire the other’s excellence and help one another strive for excellence. Aristotle says this about friends of excellence “...complete sort of friendship between people who are good and alike in virtue...”friends of virtue or excellence is hard to come by especially in the world we live in today because it is so much individualism. According to Aristotle the first two friendships are accidental, because in these case friends are only thinking about their own utility and pleasure, not are going to change over a period of time. If a friendship is based on excellence it will be a long lasting relationship, because excellence is a quality. This kind of friendship is the one everyone wants to have and it overlooks the other two friendships. This kind of friendship though is hard to find and takes a lot of time to progress but it is worth it. It is nothing like having a real and true friend. Friends who want the same thing will…

Friendship and companionship are too things I always try to give and not forget about them. By doing this task I was able to prove to myself that I have them in me. Friendship and companionship is really a major meaningful thing to have in anybody’s life, because you always need that one person who is far away, out of your zone to let the creativity scream out of yourself, a person who knows not to cross that red line, as what family attends to do a lot of times also because if you are in a bad mood friends are always a good choice to cheer you and make you happy. Friends are just people who help me; others feel worthwhile. Everyone should make friends as you can share your secrets, problems. So you see friendship is really important for me. Very glad it turned out to be one of my top things I value the most out of myself and life.…

I’m going to quote Winston Churchill “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” Good qualities in which one would find in friends; wouldn’t you say? Now I would like you to take a look around you. What do you see? You may say to yourself, I see friends. What you don’t see is what they value. The value in friendship is something that not many people in the world will take time to ponder over and appreciate. Surely, one cannot consider one a friend if we do not value them for who they are. It’s often said that “we take our friends for granted.”In most cases, friendships are lost due to the lack of honesty, trust, and love.…
