Close Friend
Trust It’s the close friend who betrayed me and made me who I am today. Having your heart broken by someone you cared for, teaches you an important lesson. It has taught me to be careful on who I trust and to keep moving on in life. Even though this was a painful event, it has made me a stronger person. Losing someone you once cared for shouldn’t be seen negatively, it should be looked positively. This friendship I had was very special because I never had a close friend who I could tell everything to. His name was Adrian and we had been friends for four years. I considered that guy as my brother, I looked up to him all the time, and our friendship was very special that no one understood it. Sadly, one day in tenth grade a huge argument occurred that ruined our friendship of four years. This argument wasn’t between us but between friends that we had and we decided to be in separate sides. He was friends with this girl who had gotten into an argument with an old friend of mine. He decided to be on that girl’s side and I decided to support my old friend. Adrian and I were to involved making us fight as well. We said things about each other that I never thought we would say or act the way we did.
Our friendship ended after a text he sent me. He sent me this text when mass ended and I had just passed by him. This text was short and simple but very painful. The text he sent me said, “I never considered you as a friend! You’re the worst person ever!” When I read that text I had barely gotten into the car and was headed home with my mom. I broke out into tears after I told my mom what the text said. I didn’t dare text him back because he had made his decision and I didn’t want to deal with him anymore. When I got home I stayed in my room the whole day because I couldn’t believe what was happening after everything we had been through. He was considered as my brother but after that text I considered him as an enemy. He also started spreading rumors about me and told my

Any type of organisms need specific things in order to survive, for example, plants needs water, sunlight, and nutrients; animals needs water, food, oxygen, etc. And for us, human beings, we need oxygen, water and food to survive, but to maintain a healthy life, we would also need a friend(s). A person can live without a friend, but they might end up having mental illness and such. But it is actually not as easy as you think to find a real friend that will be your friend forever. For instance, some people might have a large group of friends during their freshman year in high school, yet when they get to their senior year they might end up having only one friend whom they can still tell their secret to or share their feelings to without…

During our junior year of high school, I noticed Ramon was acting strange and his perception on life was so negative. I did what any best friend would do at the time and tried cheering him up and asking him what was wrong. Unfortunately I didn’t receive a response for several months. I didn’t give up on him though; I continued to do everything possible to see my friend smile. Without his happiness, I wasn’t completely happy. Everyday during school I was with him, it was rare to see one of us without the other. After school, we would attend the same club meetings and I would wait until someone picked him up before I left home. As soon as I got home, I would text him and we would text all afternoon until we went to bed. I did this for several months and to my enjoyment I saw his morale improve. Obviously it wasn’t close to normal, but it was enough to at least see his smile for a moment.…

I had not seen my friends since the last school year, but none of my so called “friends” would even acknowledge me. Here I was again, scared out of my wits, at a new school, and looking for friends. I met new people and they took me in like a lost puppy looking for a home, one of them ended up living very near to me. Her name was Simi, she was very nice to me; I thought that Simi would actually be the friend for me. It turns out, I was wrong, Simi used me to get what she wanted and I was gullible enough to cave in to her demands. Later on in the year, I finally (after years of searching) found the perfect group of friends. They were amazing and they felt just like my friends back in Ardmore. From that group of friends, I found my best friend Elizabeth Helms, who is still my best friend…

Before I explain my goals, disappointments and accomplishments, let me give you a brief explanation of my best friend. Her name was Amber Morris, I called her battle, as she called me too. We met in boot camp in 2006, hence the nickname, and were inseperable - literally. She was more than a best friend, she was my sister. She moved everywhere I did, married when I did, we had babies 3 months apart, planned for school together, divorced at the same time, fought eachother over everything and loved eachother more than we knew how to do any of our fighting. Two weeks before Feburary 19, 2010 we had a fight over my spontaneous choices. After her divorce she moved back home to Iowa, got enrolled in Iowa School of Beauty, got her own place and started really living. I however was not as decisive. I wanted to travel and only live for daily experiences… not really work towards long lasting goals. I needed instant gratification to make me happy. She only wanted the best for my daughter, Emmalie, and I. I saw her as just being judgemental of my latest decision to randomly visit Europe and I became defensive. Then the…

Growing up I did not have that many friends. There were a few that I talked to, but only a handful that I truly felt close to. I did, however, meet who was and still is one of my closest friends. We knew each other through first grade, and we remained close until third grade; that was the year he had to move away. I remember him leaving hitting me hard, even though I was young I was still crushed at the harsh disappearance of my friend. It wasn't until seventh grade that we reconnected. He had moved back to the Southeast Polk school district, and we happened to have the same science class. After that, we started hanging out again, and he had told me about his time away. We lived very different lives, and when he told me about…
