Freshmen Day
How would you describe your experience in freshmen day?

Last day we the first year students have a special day which is the freshmen day, and for me it was fun and exciting. It is composed of nstp students in Monday class to Saturday and I belong to the Thursday group. I say that the day which is the freshmen day is fun because of the happenings that we encounter, like the beat boxers or the one who uses their voices to create mixed sounds and it was so fun to hear. The excitements are not just the beat boxers it is also the one marine engineering student who impersonates the voices of some well-known personalities and cartoon characters, it was very entertaining because he does not just copy their voices; he gives the crowd the perfect voices of them. The other things that I encounter are the different kinds of singer because when ceremony doesn’t have singing it is quite boring. I say different kinds of singer because the singers have different ways and on how the way they sing their song and on how they act in the song, some singer’s songs rock music, having a partner to blend the song and the solo singer. I also encounter one singer that impersonates also a known character in an animated movie and I think that the crowd enjoys her singing and she is the only one who have “standing ovation”.
Also, the freshmen day is not complete when it doesn’t have parlor games. It is also enjoy but not all of us managed to join because of every group from Monday to Saturday have many population and the persons that will join in every parlor games has a maximum of six members per group. Last is the pageant which is attended by the beautiful and handsome students in each group and it was successful because the audiences enjoy what they saw.

Freshman year is hard. It's a new school, new teachers, and you have to start thinking about the future. But, something that really helps is setting some goals for yourself. The goals I want to achieve during my years at PHS and beyond are to maintain a good gpa all year and not be afraid to ask for help, take a class that I would enjoy and learn from, and make new friends and lots of new memories. First off, I really want to get a good gpa all four years of high school. I really want to go to a four year college after college, and getting good grades in high school helps with that. I am an auditory learner, so me being really focused in class with help me learn more and do better. Also, I have a high linguistic intelligence so that will help…

Now it was time to enjoy the rest of my senior year. Too bad being apart of Dimensional Harmony (the schools choir) didn’t exactly allow me to relax and have fun. I was worried about the Nationals competition. It got to one point where Mr. Frederick got agitated with the seniors because he claimed we weren’t “doing our jobs as seniors.” What he meant by that was, people missing rehearsals or coming in late, or even missing performances. The underclassmen even tried to take the leadership position from us. We were so focused about ourselves and getting into college. That we weren’t being considerate of the other members. I mean, was it wrong that we were trying to better ourselves and attempt to graduate and go off to college? So we started putting more effort into our rehearsals, we got stronger, worked harder, spent more of our free time working on our parts until we could sing it in our sleep. Finally the day comes we were ready to…

The first day was not like I had planned. First things first, upperclassmen do not like freshmen. Nobody actually sings in between classes or during a basketball game. There is no such thing as a Troy Bolten. He was no where in sight the whole first day. My new impression of high school was nothing like before; looking at the school was like looking at a jail.…

    graduation party

I will be having a graduation party when I graduate from south university and this party means a lot to me, it represents an accomplishment in my life I worked hard for. There is three places I got in mind to have the party at , but not really sure which one yet. One place I was thinking about having it at was the Granby Theater here in Norfolk,VA. The reason I choose this place is because of how big it is and nice the place and its plush and opulent interior, state-of-the-art light and sound systems. It also has a new Lounge concept, which offers a separate intimate setting with full bar, open kitchen, and patio that is perfect for smaller events. For smaller celebrations, you can reserve one of the beautiful semi-private balconies located on 5 different levels offering panoramic views of the venue. These include two suites with private dance floors and the Presidential Suite, located front and center. (granbytheater.com) If I choose this place there is already a live DJ there for the music, I will just set with him the type of music I would like. Another place I was thinking about was just going to The Marriot at Waterside has spacious rooms they rent out and using it to have my party. I can do this and that way I can decorate it the way I want and in the colors I want. I plan on my decorations to be the color of silver mainly and reserving a room and my own open bar. I choose this place, because of the spacious rooms they have and because of the nice atmosphere it has. I love the decore and the people there and it is very elegant and such a suitable place for a graduation party, people that are not able to go home and drive because they have had to much can just get a room and stay there. The music I will have here will be picked by me but I will hire my own private DJ, which will be a close friend of mine. (marriot.com) The final place I have picked to possibly have my party at is to find a nice place that and either red or blue, I want to have…
