Is Freedom Different in other Places of the World?       Vanessa Torres

Freedom is being able to express or do what you want, when you want it. Freedom is something very important in life and it is something that we all as humans should have. We should be able to be free to do what we want to do. There are many people in other countries with different cultures that don’t get the right of freedom. So think of your culture does it give you the freedom you want or at least a bit of freedom?
Freedom means many things to some people; either it’s a right, a law, or a privilege. Some people think of freedom as a right that you get at a certain age. Others think of it as a privilege you have to earn on a certain status. And other think of it as only a certain sex can have freedom. Out of all those things people thing, freedom is really a right we all citizens of a country should have. There is something wrong there, freedom shouldn’t be a privilege, or something you work for, it should automatically be given to each or us. For example, let’s look at the difference of the United States’ freedom and Mexico’s freedom.
Mexico’s freedom is different to the United States’ freedom in many ways. Like here in the U.S. your taken as a adult until you are 21 years old, and in Mexico you taken as an adult until your 18 years old. Also, this is going to sound strange, but in Mexico there are not many people who care about what you do or what you don’t do. They give you freedom as a right and many people take advantage of it and think that they can do what they want, and some don’t know that they have to deal with the law for certain things you did and didn’t know they weren’t suppose   to do it.
To end this topic, I think that freedom is priceless; it is something that should be given to us by law. Any type of culture in a country should give its citizens freedom. A consequence of not having freedom is that many people will do stuff that’s against the law or that’s not right.... [continues]
