The Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning
By Lemony Snicket
The Bad Beginning is book one of The Series of Unfortunate Events. It tells a tale about three orphans who lost their parents in a “ fire accident”. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. The three Baudelaire children are going to live with their nearest relative. They are, sadly, living with the horrible Count Olaf. Count Olaf is an actor in theater. Count Olaf was very horrible and wanted the children’s money. See, the Baudelaire family is very wealthy and Count Olaf wanted so much, he did everything. This book connects to the world because many kids all around the world have similar things happening to them. Like being orphans and having a terrible guardian. The book will appeal to others because it is fun and entertaining. This book doesn’t relate to other books because Series of Unfortunate Events is a one of a kind set. The story is very precise and unique because other authors probably wouldn’t think of such a miserable story. Only Lemony Snicket would think of a story like that. I would recommend this book to students who want to have an exciting adventure with cruel villains. This story consists of sadness, misery and a horrible person. If you want a book of...
