Introduction

Since human thinking on people are always driven to be the best on top, to have a better life of welfare and the most important to be successful.
Success now days can be defined very individually. For one person it can mean to have success in sports and to get acknowledged, for the other to have a well paid job, a house and a family. If someone wants to define success itself it would probably mean a reached goal, created out of a competition within its own specific area.
To define success in the business world in terms of a competitive view would mean to become a benchmarker. A benchmarker is described as a business with the highest market share, a well known brand over a product and service and the highest profit. In terms of success the goal would be to become a benchmarker and the competition is created on how this goal can be achieved.
One of the most important steps to enter this competition is finding a way of entering the business world with a fast return on investment and high profit but at the lowest risk possible. But why to go the long and hard way of creating wholly new business concepts, new products with all the researches that have to be done, while having a very unclear future? Of having such a high risk without promised success? Why not become a benchmarker right away?
There is one business concept that is able to combine all this positive factors, of a save entry in the market and of becoming a benchmarker right away. This concept is called franchising.
