The economic crisis has affected some of the bigger companies in the world.   Some of them have decided to adopt information technology outsourcing process, in order to reduce cost, speed up time to market and increase productivity and effectiveness.   IT is now sourced globally.   Based on available surveys, UK companies outsource their software offshore and the market conditions are driving more interest in nearshore services. Based on European Information Technology Observatory (EITO), UK is the leading of the information technology with 199500 million of dollars, because it is the biggest investor in the European Union.

As a result, UK represents 20% of the total in EU’s market and it could reach 22500 million of dollars in 2012.   Also it represents 10% of its GDP.
