Food Rules has many ideas to be able to maintain a healthy life in our decision about food. Michael Pollan demonstrates how tradition over the years has being affected. In Food Rules, Michael Pollan helps us answer the question “What should I eat” there are many reasons he gave us to understand our bad habits, and our healthy diet. One reason will be the Western Diet, it has being an extremely impact over what food is produced, and why is so bad about it. There is a lot of sugar, salt, fat in every food we eat, but is never included vegetables or any kind of fruit. This type of diet has cause bad diseases to some people who live in a big population. Some of the diseases that are dangerous are obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. For the reason I’m writing this book is because rules are beneficial to a better diet. However the reason I’m following some of these rule is so that I can maintain a healthy life style. The first rule that I like the most was “Avoid foods that have some form of sugar or sweetener” (13). For one thing I decided to use this rule, is because it has some benefits to my body. As well as the book suggests that the most important idea is to be switching to artificial sweetener, and does not lead to weight lost. Instead of craving for ever more sweetener I will have some changes in order to make my diet better each day. For example drinking fruit juice concentrated instead of Coke, may be a good change in order for me to stop those sweet drinks. As a result I will start using Splenda Sugar, instead of Regular Sugar which has more fat. During my changes for my meals I will first start with breakfast. I will start eating Fiber One Honey Clusters Cereal that has low sugar, and low in fiber. As well as in lunch time, I will choose better to eat white rice, with black beans, and a grill chicken, instead of Pop Tart with Strawberry. Last for dinner I will eat something smaller soup with vegetables, and ice tea without sugar. Eventually...
