EXECUTIVE SUMMARY.
The public sector NHS organisations are constantly under pressure to be more efficient, effective and productive, and OBMH are no exception. Added to this is the fact that the Trust is now a Foundation Trust and can no longer borrow from the government if it gets into financial difficulty so it is absolutely essential that as a Trust it is financially stable and performing to high standard. Its major target has to be to remain competitive and productive, whilst providing good value for all its stakeholders.
Overall OBMH and its Stakeholders can feel assured that the reputation and performance the Trust has built up is still secure and the position of the Trust is reasonably secure. There is always room for improvement, and the Trust must continue to look to ways to improve, as there are similar Mental Health Foundation Trusts in the market, luckily OBMH ratings puts the Trust above most of them, however there is at least one currently above OBMH, and the stakeholders will be aware of this.
