REPORT TITLE

WHETHER MEDIUM-SIZED VIETNAMESE COMPANIES SHOULD PURSUE CROSSLISTING AT THIS TIME?

ABSTRACT
Despite the global financial crisis, Vietnam has been growing well and currently been the second fastest-developing economy. Consequently, the Vietnamese financial markets need a large sum of capital for the economy’s activities and the execution of planned projects. However, their financial markets in general and stock exchanges in particular seem not to satisfy the demand. Other methods of capital mobilizing need to be come up with, among which Cross-listing stands out to be very potential. As a result, this report is composed to assess the feasibility of Cross-listing among Vietnamese medium-sized enterprises, based on the findings from many secondary and primary researches. It was pointed out that Cross-listing had many advantages compared to the drawbacks, and the macro-economic conditions of Vietnam wholly supported the strategy.
