EXP 105 – Final Reflection Assignment
Learning to me is allowing your brain to receive information and then applying in to your life experiences. I feel like face to face learning is better, however, online is more convenient. I prefer face to face because it offers a more personal relationship with your classmates and your professor. Although it is not practical for my life, I do wish I could attend classes in a regular environment. Online provides me that much needed space and opportunity to move at my own pace. Now that I have taken this class, I know that while I am receiving information I will be more aware of the information being delivered because I will now be more intentional with receiving the information.
I was rated at a score of 24 for Sequence. I use sequence when my most common method becomes overwhelming. I usually go in head first for a solution, for example, if I have to put a bike together, I start by looking at all the parts and researching information about the importance of certain mechanisms and how they work. If, while putting it together, I become confused about parts, I then resort back to the instruction manual to see where I went wrong. I was rated at a 33 for precision. This is how I prefer to work. I like to know about the project in detail before I begin. I research a product before I make purchases as well. Where it would take someone only moments to make a decision on a product, I usually take days or even weeks if there are no time restraints to research the process, and cost in different places. I was rated at a 16 for technical reasoning. I am not a technical person at all. I do not like to put things together. When or if I have to, I go through several channels prior to starting to put something together. I would read about it, look at videos of how to put it together or install it. I tend to procrastinate on technical stuff that is why I prefer to just ask for help from someone who is great at that type of
