Abstract
Kudler Fine Foods is a local upscale specialty fine foods store located in the San Diego metropolitan area in California. Currently, they are known for providing their customers with a wide selection of domestic and imported gourmet foods and wines. Kudler Fine Foods has established an outstanding local presence within the community but is looking to expand beyond the San Diego Metropolitan area. Kudler Fine Foods management has requested the implementation of a Frequent Shopper Program which will provide loyalty points to dedicated consumers. Providing loyalty points will attract more customers to a Kudler Fine Foods’ location for their specialty food needs. The Frequent Shopper Program will track customer purchase behavior which will help to refine process within the company. Improving process will allow the opportunity to provide a better service to customers. The implementation of a Frequent Shopper Program into Kudler Fine Foods current business process will require up-front costs associated with training and the upgrade/purchase of equipment. Kudler Fine Foods management has determined the benefits of this project will outweigh the costs involved. This project will increase revenue and customer satisfaction at each location within the company.

Kudler Fine Foods is known not only for its ability to provide access to a high quality product, but also for its capacity to locate and provide specialized goods and services to the discerning consumer. This function can be better utilized by developing a consumer loyalty program that will allow the company to reward loyal and repetitive business with a suite of services and other luxury items that would otherwise be difficult to gain access to.
