k. Even when stories are very different; in literature plots, conflicts and structure can still have similar ideas.

When reading “The Child by Tiger” by Thomas Wolfe and “The Most Dangerous Game” by Robert Connell, I was so consumed by the stories that the only obvious choice to me was to write about conflict, plot and structure. According to our text; “Literature” by X.L. Kennedy conflict is defined “the central struggle between two or more forces in a story” (Kennedy 24), plot is “The particular arrangement of actions, events, and situations that unfold in a narrative” (Kennedy 1522), and structure according to dictionary.com means “the relationship or organization of the component parts of a work of art or literature” (“dictionary.com”). “The Child by Tiger” had so much going on.
