A family is a group of people who are related to each other especially parents and their children. Family is an important unit of the society it is a great importance in people life. A family is the first school in which we receives the basic values of life we learn good manners from the family. The morals and values we learn in family becomes our guide in life. In my family, there are five people, my father, my mother, my brothers and me. My brothers are almost done with college they are in Nigeria, one is majoring in engineering, and the other is majoring in medicine and I’m also majoring in medicine. My dad brings money home and he is responsible and he is responsible for planning family trips. He is an engineer, a great disciplinarian, he is sincere and hardworking, and he also goes to work in time. My mom makes sure everyone eats at the appropriate times. She is a cosmetologist. She takes good care of us. She does not care for her comfort for us. She helps the poor and needy, she is religious and GOD fearing. Since our early childhood we are taught to respect the elders and also to care for others. They both make sure we are educated. My family has always been a very important staple in my life, they came to all my school activities to support me, and there is always there for me whenever I need help. Then there are times, my brothers and my other families have a lot of fun, memories that we share with families we can never forget. We have thanksgiving together, and all my families come out to celebrate with us and we have the best time. I am proud of my family.
