Good evening Miss, the title that I want to present today is the factors affecting job selection among new university graduates. In my opinion, communication skills, relevant education and relevant experience are the factors that affecting job selection among new university graduates nowadays.
When the new university graduates are seek for the jobs, they will be call to interview. Interview is a major problem for many job seekers, this is because many of them are lack of communication skills such as lack of confidence during public speaking and language problem. During the interview, new graduates must have good preparation instills confidence and make eye-contact when talking. Good communication can make people understand you better and passes information along.
Next, relevant education also is the factor that affecting job selection among new university graduates. This is because some of the job positions are require certain industry knowledge that is often obtained through the completion of a degree program. For example, when the company desiring to hire an accountant, the company will most likely to require that candidates are taking accounting degree. Besides that, some of the companies are prefer to hire the candidates which have a good result and who graduated from certain top-ranking institutions. This shows that the relevant education is play an important role in job selection.
In addition, relevant experience work also is the factor that influences the job selection among new university graduates. Nowadays, why many of the new university graduates can’t find the jobs? This is because many of them are lack of experience work compare with the other job seekers. The company’s desire to hire the candidates with relevant experience because it can saves the company time and money to training a new employee.
