                      Introduction

We are Coen van Staveren en Rajesh Mannoesingh. For our export marketing plan we were given the assignment of choosing a originated dutch product and researching if there is a market in another country.

Our host company is Tolsma Storage technology located in Emmeloord, The Netherlands which produces agricultural cooling systems for mainly potatoes. Tolsma produces the entire concept from ventilators till the computers which run the system. We believe that this advanced cooling system would be a intressting concept for the farmers in Portugal.

We chose for Portugal because Tolsma is all ready internationally known in many countries within and outside Europe and with the statistics we found, Portugal became a very attractive choice.

We plan on staying three weeks in Lissabon, Portugal and holding a market research and making contacts to see if Portugal actually is a interesting country for Tolsma to expand their market share in.

The Company and Product

For my/our export marketing plan we wanted to choose a company that is easy to reach and which has a interesting product that could be exported to one of the three countries. With these objectives we decided we are going to use Tolsma Storage Technology as our adoption company.
