Task 1

I am going to an introductory report on two organizations. The two organizations that I am going to investigate are British Airways and The prison service.

British Airways

British Airways is the UK’s largest international airline business, they fly over to 550 destinations all over the world. British Airways takes pride in providing exceptional customer service for their clients by meeting their requirements at all times whether they are in the air or on the ground. They have two main airports which are Heathrow London and Gatwick London these airports are the most popular with the UK. Their main purpose is to make sure all their customers are treated fairly and that they arrive or depart at their destination safely. British Airways also hopes to offer year round low fares to their customers, so that their customers will stay loyal and will select them when travelling in the future. British airways is in the private sector this means that it is a private limited company, with shareholders with limited liability and its shares may not be offered to the general public, unlike those of a public limited company.

British Airways aims and objectives

British Airways aims and objectives are to increase the number of people who respond to their surveys etc. They also want to speed up their action plan in support of the corporate change programme to improve the perception of their airline. They also strive for more customers to choose their airline over their competitors such as Easy Jet etc. British Airways are also concerned with making a profit so that their company develops in the future as their objective is continually expanding. From my research I realized that their main objective is to provide a highly reliable, safe and pleasant journey and experience for their customer’s one which is highly competitive.
