Obesity is on the rise, and becoming more of a national health concern.
Obesity is a particularly public health challenge, but not only underlies much disease and health spending but largely stems from repeated personal behavioral choices. According to study, More than one- third of U.S adults (35.7%) are obesied. Obesity-related conditions include heart disease,stroke,and type 2 diabetes and some other types of cancer. Some of the leading cause of preventable death.

What is overweight and obesity?
Overweight refers to increased body weight in relation to height, when compared to some standard of acceptable or desirable weight.Obesity is defined as an excessively high amount of body fat or adipose tissue in relation to lean body mass.
BMI stands for Body Mass Index. It is a number that shows body weight adjusted for height. BMI can be calculated with simple math using inches and pounds, or meters and kilograms.
