Surviving middle school can be a scary and challenging place to learn at. The reason for it is all of the troublesome obstacles you will face, such as being picked on and pushed around, the physical, emotional and mental changes that will be occurring to and around you, the peer pressure you will endure for the next three years and the bad influences that will occur to you. Another difficulty you will face is the kids that will want to pressure you into smoking or skipping class, because it “cool” and we will try to do it is because we all want to have a place to belong in the social jungle that is middle school. But in my opinion it’s not worth all the drama and trouble that it will most likely create. For instance you could be suspended, fail your classes, become addicted on drugs, or worse, and these are the things that will cause you to fail and mess you up for life. Therefore these experiences will become a necessary example to teach you how to deal with the unfairness in life. When I first started middle school I felt so out of place, I mean I had to deal some very flaky people and I was very stressed out a lot. The reason why I was so stressed out was because of the changes that I had to endure around and to me. For example I had to deal with the disturbing fact that I was growing hair in various places on my body , and I had to go ask my mother about these unnatural changes that was happening to me, I also had to endure the constant changing’s of difficult class and homework assignments I had to complete. To me it was like trying to understand and complete my assignment in a combination Latin and gibberish, and the most agonizing change I had to deal with was having flaking friends, like for instance when I first came to class I made my first middle school friend but as it turned out that since I

Middle school was really weird time for me. It seemed like it was the most dramatic / drama filled. Our school at St. Peters was messed up, anything that could happen did. I've had teacher come up to me and ask for answers to what happened. Students doing bad things and etc. Also middle school to me was so fun, because people who I like got in trouble because of me. If you weren't my friend at St. Peters you better hope that you weren't mean to me, because if you were the teachers would find out what you did and they get in trouble.…

It made me a kinder more considerate person who loves to brighten people’s day because happiness was a kind of hard for me to find in middle school. It helped me to value the friendships that I do have because I actually had none before. As a nice little bonus, it also had me read “To Kill A Mockingbird” twice along with plenty of Edgar Allen Poe before I needed to in high school. But, all-in-all, middle school and all of its glory made me who I…

When students move from elementary to middle school, they face numerous social challenges. For example, middle schools are often much larger, and students may find themselves separated from their elementary school friends. They have to make new friends in a strange, unfamiliar setting. Also, instead of having one teacher, students have five to seven different teachers a day. That is a lot of new people to get used to.…

I understand that the years after kindergarten where more difficult than you thought it would be and it is very different you never worried about being lonely or being bullied and frankly you don't have to until those rumors started going around and you lost all your friends or who you thought where your friends at least but you had few who stayed and you clung to them hoping that they wouldn't leave you too and they didn't not until a few years later when they where in different classes and when you did see them they where in the popular crowd like you once where loved by many but because of that they left you. when you reached second grade you started to get bullied not physically but in simple little ways like dirty looks and moving away from you and nobody really wanted to be your friend but you had a few friends and they tried to help you and they did for a while, when you finally reached third grade you started to bully others because you just wanted the pain and loneliness to stop you only did this once or twice but even still you came home feeling horrible knowing you just hurt someone who did not deserve it you grew quiet you almost never spoke in class and when you found someone who was nice to you, you clung to them really needing some support but you only seemed to anger them and they turned away from you all because you needed some support to know that someone besides your family cared for…

    Mean Girls Essay

Middle school is when I first realized how mean girls could be, forming cliques and teasing kids who did not fit into their idea of “normal.” I instantly discovered that I did not want to be included in the drama-filled cliques of middle school girls. While boys can act the same way, I noticed that they do not typically care about the same drama as girls.…

Middle school is a weird time for any student. For me, this is where I started to find my political views and how I was so much different from my peers. Oregon is a very Democratic state, while I found myself leaning towards Republican views. I knew more than most people my age about politics and sometimes it surprised my teachers. The middle school I went to was actually back in Canby so both of the Elementary Schools that I had attended went to the same middle school. This was an interesting dynamic considering I was seeing Hispanics, Latino, African Americans, Asian Americans, the working class and the upper class. Political views were an emerging subject because of the 2008 election of Barack Obama. I did not like him at all and my friends, and teacher knew. Most people would call me raciest because they thought I disliked him because of the color of his skin. This was hard because nobody would let me talk and explain my reasons. This was diverse considering I was in an environment with different points of views on this matter. In this environment it was hard. I felt like an outcast with people that I had been around for almost my entire…

    High School Hunting Trip

In a way, middle school is like a hunting trip. Going into it, you know what your goal is---graduating, or killing that huge mule deer. But you can’t do it without your gear. Your textbook, which is your bow, your pencils, which are your arrows, and finally, your hunting partner. Your hunting partner is there to enjoy the experience with you, and to help pack out the prize. In school, this would be that one good friend, or in some cases several friends that help you through it, and achieve the goal of graduation with you.…

Middle school was an adventure of awkwardly dressing and thinking you are cooler than you actually are. I remember growing up hearing the horror stories of that age and how hard seventh grade was compared to everything we have ever faced before. Seventh grade was the glory year. I hated my science teacher with a passion due to her non caring attitude, but I loved my English teacher. The best part of the entire year, was lunch.…

Middle school is awesome! In the transition from elementary to middle school, it can be tough, but you will make it! One major change is having six new teachers with different rules. For example, Mrs. Provost lets you listen to any school appropriate music, Mrs. Buggy only lets you listen to Josh Groban, and some teachers don’t let you listen to music at all! Teachers have a lot of differences, but they also have a lot in common too!…

MIddle school is a time to figure out who you are, and learn things about yourself. That’s almost everything you can think about. As I go through middle school I just try to keep a smile and people think she is always happy. I’ve even been told that by friends, but really I’m just trying to figure out who I am, and who God wants me to be. It can be hard moving through middle school with all the work, sports, and your walk with God. I tried to show people that it’s easy being me being able to figure things out about myself, but it can be hard, but i learned that I don’t need people to think that i’m always happy and things are always easy I just need to be myself.I also know that it will still be hard. Especially trying to keep a smile. Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This is a verse has helped me learn what God wants me to do with…
