ANAT SC 1103 – Human Biology IB

DURATION: Official Reading Time: 10 mins Writing Time: 150 mins (2 hr, 30 mins) Total Duration: 160 mins (2 hr, 40 mins)

Instructions:
This is a closed book examination. The total writing time available for this examination is 150 minutes, however, it is expected that candidates will be able to answer all of the questions adequately within 2 hours (120 minutes). The additional 30 minutes are available so that candidates are not pressured for time, and to enable answers to be carefully checked. Write your name, student ID, row and desk number, and date in the spaces indicated on the front of this booklet. Write your name and student ID at the bottom of each page of the booklet in the space indicated. Write only in the spaces provided in this booklet. The amount of space provided gives an indication of the level of detail of the answers required. Three (3) “emergency” pages are available at the end of the booklet for replacement answers, should you wish to change the answer to a question. These extra pages are NOT to be used for answers that overflow the space available. Diagrams should be used to illustrate your answers where relevant. ANSWER ALL TWELVE (12) QUESTIONS. Read the instructions for each question carefully; note that some questions include choices whereas others do not. Answers must be written in BLACK OR BLUE INK and not in RED INK OR PENCIL.
