Every one in the setting has the responsibility to report any health and safety concerns or any near misses and any accidents or incidents that happen. Every body in the setting is required to make sure that the setting they are working in is safe for the children and staff members.
1.2. Identify the lines of responsibility and reporting for health and safety in the work setting You have to report any incidents that you see if you don’t you may be breaking the law, or putting you and others in danger. You need to report them to the relevant person and make sure everyone who needs to know does. If you don’t report this you could be putting others in danger as well as your self.
1.3. Explain what risk assessment is and how this is managed in the work setting A risk assessment is to look at the potential risk and what can be put in place to minimize this risk of harm. The risk assessments are in a folder which every one has access too, they are reviewed every time something changes and every time some thing different comes in to place e.g when the setting gets there digital table they have to have a risk assessment before the table comes in.
