Euthanasia

Debate Euthanasia is defined as the act or practice of ending the life of an individual suffering from a terminal illness or an incurable condition, as by lethal injection or the suspension of extraordinary medical treatment but the questions still remains is euthanasia considered murder?. The decision against euthanasia was influence by many facts that euthanasia may not always be voluntary many patients are usualy unable to speak on whether they want to end their lives or keep on living. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion the counter arguement morally wrong it is believed that hospitals are over crowded and euthanasia should be used to make room for other patients. My position is valid because it is unethical to assist a person on suicide there are many other options and medications with the new medical advances. There are also no aspects of the U.S. Constitution that give citizens the right to kill. Every one is entitled to determine their own judgement. The option to choose euthanasia may not always be voluntary and the decision to make a life ending choice may be influenced by a loved one in order for the person not to feel like a burden to their family. The book Euthanasia opposing viewpoints states " Vulnerable patients are asking us to listen to their request with an open mind and heart and to keep their values and priorities at the center of the desicion making process" (Snyder 112). Many elderly people are abandoned and pressured by selfish relatives, many may feel that euthanasia is the only solution. As for others it is hard to determine whether a person in a comma may wake up in days,weeks or years the family is entittled to the option of euthanasia but that is considered involuntory the person being put to rest had no opinion on assited suicide. Some may not even have a stable mental capacity to make such a life ending decision for themselves. Accepting euthanasia accepts that some lives those who are disabled or sick are more worthless
