Ethnomethodology is the study of the everyday methods that people use for the production of social order (Garfinkel:2002). It's like a feedback system, first you observe and document the methods and then practices through it, society's members get the basic ideas or background assumptions about the way life is or reassure their world. (Henslin, 2013) For example, if someone goes to the emergency room and cost him 1000 dollars, how dose the hospital try to get the full payment? Ethnomethodologist will sum the step by step method as: 1. kindly suggest the patient to pay the amount at the end of the service. 2. mail a bill of the service to the provided patients address and suggesting making payment in full and in time will get discount and if not there will be an extra charge goes to the total amount. 3. Mail the bill again by the end of the month's billing cycle with the fine added to the total amount. 4. Repeatedly send the bill to remind of payment. 5. After 6 months, send a warning note implying the possibility of passing the case to a collection agency and at the same time providing a payment solution.6. The collection agency would send a letter to collect the money and give 30 days period before the case actually reported to credit agency. 7. The unpaid bill actually pose a negative impact on the patients credit record. Dramaturgy analyzes the impressions we attempt to make on others by using sigh-vehicles(setting, appearance, and manner), teamwork, and face-saving behavior. (Henslin, 2013) It originated from symbolic interactionism, and argue that human action are depend upon time, place and audience. (Goffmen, 1959)And human being as performer will present them in a way to the others based on cultural values, norms and expectations. Since there is a stage, then there must be "front stage" ( where the audience can see your act) and back stage(when you are by yourself).
