The internet has revolutionized how individuals obtain information.   The ability to gather information with quickness and convenience has change the way people of all walks of life do research. The first way of determining credibility on the internet is considering the author and their expertise.   You want to find out who the author is who they are linked to.     The author should have some type credentials and have verifiable sources of their qualifications as an expert in the field.   The author should be well-known in his or her field and if not, you may ask yourself questions such as what knowledge or skills do they have and what else has the author written or what organization they belong to.   The author should have some type of biographical information or you can link the author to another author or website that is credible, or the author has positive feedback from another trusted authority.   You can also find out what others say about the author.   Using search engines such as Yahoo or Google to find out additional information on the author will be helpful.   Also, you should ask is there any contact information...
