Estée Lauder was born in New York on 1 July, 1908. She married to Joseph lauder in 1930. In 1946 they open Estée Lauder Cosmetics and decided only sell their products in the best stalls and in 1948, established their first department store account with Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.

Estée Lauder is smart salesperson. She is one rather than the Union Commerce American Women 10 Women Shining in commerce in the organizational united in 1967. Cosmetic Executive Women deliver Lifelong Achievement Award in 1989, and the American Society of Perfumers awarded first Living Legend award in 1994.

Millions of women, and now men, from more than 130 countries enjoy the fruits Lauder products created, including skin care, snappy tool, perfumes and hair maintenance products. In 1998, Time magazine praised Lauder as one rather than the twenty-century's most influential commercial genius. She is also the only woman.

In 2003, Fortune magazine give position # 349 in the Fortune 500 list of America's largest company. Years off, company reported selling $ 5120000000 taverns primarily through positions such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Marshall Field's, Neiman-Marcus, Harrods in London and Galeries Lafayette in Paris.

Estee Lauder acquired more brand licensing of names such as : Clinique, Aramis, Prescriptives, Origins, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Tommy Hilfiger, La Mer , Donna Karan, Aveda, Stila, Jo Malone, wrong and wrong, kate shoveling beauty, Darphin, Michael Kors and Rodan & Field.

Aramis perfume line and guiding products for men, launched in 1964. In 1968, Lauder and introduced a line of men's first dermatology-guided, allergy tested cosmetics perfumes useless, known as Clinique.
