ROBOTİCS
INTRODUCTION
Robots are the largest growing technological devices in the world. They perform many functions ranging from space exploration to entertainment.
In the following essay the functions of robots, the various types of robots and the advantages and disadvantages of using robots will be discussed.
The reasons for using robots are almost endless for example; robots are ideal for jobs that require repetitive, precise movements. Human workers get bored doing the same thing over and over, which can lead to fatigue, RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury, and costly mistakes. Robots are also ideal for tasks that are dangerous, or where human workers may damage the product. For example, in a factory manufacturing medicines and chemicals that may harm humans and factories that manufacture food that humans may damage by handling. Also used in tasks that is impossible for humans e.g. navigating mars or deep sea exploration.

WHAT ARE ROBOTS ADVANTEGES AND DİSADVANTAGES?
ADVANTAGES
Robots are great machines. It has a lot of advantages. Many benefits of robots seem to be most noticeable in productivity, safety and in saving time and Money.
PRODUCTİVİTY
.Robots produces more accurate and high quality work
.Robots rarely makes mistakes and are more precise than human workers
.They can produce a greater quantity in a short amount of time
.They can work at a constant speed with no breaks, days off or holiday time
.They can perform applications with more repeatability than humans.

SAFETY
.Robots saves workers from performing dangerous tasks
.They can work in hazardous conditions, such as poor lighting, toxic chemicals, or tight spaces
.They are capable of lifting heavy loads without injury or tiring
.Robots increase worker

The future is the future and the new development of technologies will go further. Having robots in the field of fire such as the army would be able to help assist them into being able to cause less damage and casualties. In the field of medicine they can be able to find out what is wrong by a small injection of microbots to find the disease and cure it. The author did not mention the enhancements of construction like how there have recently been 3D print houses. The author should also mention the concerns about these technologies and why they should not worry.…

The final benefit of technology would be in the workplace. Robots are becoming more and more popular among jobs today. Robots used to be caged off because of the dangers they posed. However, Eisenberg (2013) contradicts this by stating that calmer industrial machines, created to work and play with people, are coming out from behind their shielding barriers to work shoulder-to-shoulder with humans (“Freed from its Cage”). What once used to be a feared machine is now a friendly robot who is working among people and helping to make jobs more efficient and less…

Nowadays, robots are increasingly being integrated into working tasks to replace humans especially to perform the repetitive task. In general, robotics can be divided into two areas, industrial and service robotics. International Federation of Robotics (IFR) defines a service robot as a robot which operates semi- or fully autonomously to perform services useful to the well-being of humans and equipment, excluding manufacturing operations [1]. These mobile robots are currently used in many fields of applications including office, military tasks, hospital operations, dangerous environment and agriculture [2]. Robotic arms are mechanically controlled devices designed to replicate the movement of a human arm. The devices are used for lifting heavy objects and carrying out tasks that require extreme concentration and expert accuracy. The robotic arm most often is used for industrial and non industrial purposes.…

Robots are fascinating. Everyone agrees to say that artificial intelligence and robotics are one of man’s greatest achievements in science during the last century. However, as their abilities increase this creation of man might make him useless. That is indeed a burning question that we are going to analyze : are robots going to take our place at work ? This might seem almost ridiculous because even nowadays robots look very limited, but they are making huge progresses and can already do many things much better than man. So what if we should be threatened by this possibility ?…

A robot is defined as a mechanical or virtual intelligent agent that can perform most tasks automatically or with some guidance. A robot is usually an electro-mechanical machine that is guided by a computer of some sort and an electronic programming. Many people think it is a machine that imitates a human—much like the androids in Star Wars, Terminator and Star Trek. People still haven 't been able to give a robot enough understanding to reliably interact with the world. The types of robots that you will encounter most frequently are the robots that will do work that is too dangerous, vigorous, or just plain nasty. They can be found in auto, medical, manufacturing and space industries. In fact, there are over a million of these types of robots working for us today. Robotics has other uses that can help people with everyday life. They have come a long way since Leonardo Da Vinci first drew up designs for robotic equipment in the 1400’s, and even earlier before that to the Chinese in an estimated time of 50 BC. However there is a fear in today’s society that advancement in robotics may lead to a dooms day scenario.…
