If it wasn’t for that juvenile class I don’t think I would be thinking twice on what I do now. There were a lot of topics about bad stuff that caught my eye. But there was only 5 or so that I was most interested in. Those were driving, underage drinking, tobacco, and curfew. First topic was underage drinking. Drinking at such a young age it’s more likely that you could get alcohol poising, blackouts or even overdose. Could cause early brain damage or even memory lost. What’s even scarier is that 5,000 people die a year from drinking car accidents. Most alcohol contains 1 oz. of ethanol which is a depressant drug. Depressant is reducing functional or nervous activity.
Second topic was driving. Texting and driving or even calling on your phone could increase your chances for you to crash into someone or something and danger someone’s life. Worst things you could do while driving is speeding, driving recklessly, or driving drunk! You could be fined up to a million dollars if you are caught driving drunk and you crashed into someone, and if you kill that person you’re going to spending a lot of time in jail!
Third topic was tobacco. Facts about tobacco are that you can’t sell it to someone under 18, there are over 4,000 chemicals in Tabaco and 60 of them are proven to cause cancer! One of them is nicotine, which is a very addictive chemical and that’s the reason why some people can’t stop smoking. Smoking it could cause heart problems, lung cancer, high blood pressure, bladder cancer and a lot more. If you smoke one pack a day you are putting one quart of tar in your lungs in a year. There are a lot of people who die every year because of smoking which doesn’t make since why they sell it? I’ll never understand that.

Last topic was curfew. This is the reason that I was put into this class. The purpose of juvenile curfew is to protect the young kids from roaming the streets at night because there is a lot of bad stuff that happens. Also they don’t want young
