Having them seem to have become a necessity to many twelve year olds and to some senior citizens. They are the most widely spread used device of communication for Americans. Some of them are capable of performing task like a computer would. Due to the increasing popularity and ever changing technology, cell phone usage has increased while operating a motorized vehicle. Some driver’s text or read messages while driving. These post potential threats to the drivers. Cell phones usage while driving could be dangerous and lead to lots of unforeseen circumstances like death, rushing to the emergency room and leaving an individual with a life threatening medical condition. Cell phones have an effect on America’s built environment, especially through widespread advertising. Cell phones have grown to be popular in the United States unlike the Internet, which on the other hand has caused digital division between various social classes.
