DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT? “WATCHING TELEVISION IS BAD FOR CHILDREN’’

Nowadays, television plays an important role in our lives. Some people suppose that watching television brings many negative effects on the development of their children. Others oppose this. I think that television is really good for people, especially for children. Since since it not only helps them widen their knowledge by giving , give them a lot of lessons but also reduces their stress.
Firstly, television programs bring children lots of knowledge and information about different fields in the life. Thus, This it is extremely good for children to understand more about surroundings. For example, thanks to television programs about nature, young people have opportunities to discover how many time humming- bird, the smallest bird on the Earth or how turtles reproduce and how many years they can live. There are other entertainment programs which are often in form of such as songs, stories, quiz show, reality series etcand so on. By watching television, children can have a largean intensive look about at everything, everyone all over the world.
Secondly, children can learn a huge number of lessons by watching television. There are great classes on television which have participation of experienced teachers. These classes are much more interesting than dry, hard lessons taught in the school. For instance, to prepare for the English examination, I often watched and tried small English tests on television. After about two months, my studying result improved clearly. Besides, children often watch programs like cartoons since perhaps they these films are suitable for their age. Aside from the vivid pictures, lovely world of lovely cute animals, or typical characters, each story has its own meaning and children can learn from that lesson to become better.
