I am a hardworking individual who is organised and approachable. I am able to work within a team environment as well as on my own initiative. I have an excellent time keeping and attendance record and enjoy a challenge. I am now looking to learn new skills as well as improve upon my existing ones within the Sales environment.

Employment History:
Oct 2001 – July 2007 A & E Publishing Ltd, Manchester Sole Trader
This was a family owned Publishing business that specialised in the production of educational journals. I had supervision and was responsible for 15 members of staff. I would monitor staff calls to ensure that our customers were getting the best standard of customer service possible. I would cold call Educational establishments to sell advertising space in our Journal and also monitor staff performance against their individual sales targets and the performance
July 1993 – Oct 2001 Fairmount Care Home, Bradford
This was a residential care home for the elderly. My duties included checking and handing over individual reports at the beginning of each night shift. I also provided care to the service users following their individual care plans. One of my tasks was to get all residents ready for bed and monitoring them during the night to make sure they were comfortable. In the morning I would help to get the service users up and out of bed helping them with their personal care. I also prepared ion food and refreshments to the service user’s specification

    Within my own job role there is a wide range of duties and responsibilities. No two days are ever the same so we have to be prepared for anything that may happen. My duties as a care assistant include assisting residents that require assistance with personal care, which can include bathing, washing and dressing, assistance with going to the toilet, help with incontinence, weather this could be change of incontinence pads or just make sure that they are there for when they need them.
