Hero vs. Epic Hero
    Everyone has their own way of classifying a hero. To a young child their parent may be a hero. For most Americans, Barack Obama is classified as a hero. Think about all of the heroes and epic heroes in ones life they are all around.
    A brave, bold, fearless human is what should come to mind when the word hero is said. A hero can be anyone who stands up for their rights or saves the life of a living creature. Members of the United States Army have the career of being a hero, everyday their serving justice. Someone might think a comic book character falls under this category, but they have superpowers so that makes them a super hero. Heroes are idols there are just different types of them.
    Has one ever heard the story of King Arthur and the Round Table? Kin Arthur was one of the greatest epic heroes that anyone could imagine. All epic heroes have a special weapon in this case it was a sword, Excalibur. Who knows if the story is real that’s what makes King Arthur a legendary hero.
    No matter what category a hero falls in their courageous, bold actions always save the day. Even though epic heroes are more fantasy than heroes are reality they still seem to save the damsel in distress. Heroes usually are described as the good guy, but an epic hero can be either. Everyone should know the story of Robin Hood. He stole from the rich and gave to the poor.

  The idea was bad, but the purpose was good. That’s what makes him a leader. He does heroic actions even though he may be put in jail, for committing a crime, but he did what he thought was right.
    Basically a hero is whatever someone thinks it is. There is no specific way to say what a hero is, because everyone describes one differently. It does not matter what anyone may call a hero, because they all serve some purpose. [continues]
