INTRODUCTION

THE FUTURE ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

It is a fact that Nigeria economy and business climate provide peculia challenges to the young Nigerian entrepreneur. The EED is well placed to use the resources from the future awards to build the managerial capacities and business accumen of the young Nigerian.
The topics engaged in at the entrepreneurship development programme covers issues like: 1. Understanding your environment: a) Students learn the importance of scanning the environment. b) Students gain the awareness of challenges and oppurtunities, and ways to capitalize on them.

2. Covers the research and feasibility survey stage of advising a business approach.

Your Business Model:
An extensive introduction to the design of and execution of different business models racognize that new business may need new business model. The value of having a business model.

It Is Passion Overrated:
Students will understand the importance of enjoying what one does.
They will be taken through the pros and cons of following one’s
Passion, what to do when the going does get tough.

Selling Yourself:
This course was based on practical session on personal and professional branding, style information etc.

Cloth Making As Part Of Entrepreneurship Development:
Here, students were able to learn some stages in cloth making. 1. Preliminary Stage: This means when a customer or customers come to your workshop, you welcome the person warmly, ask the person what you can do for him or her. After the discussion collect his/her address, phone number. It is very important in this stage. 2. MEASURE: it is a vital step in cloth making any wronge measurement will affect the end product of the garment.
Cares to be taking while measuring your client /customer 1. Observe the figure of your customer. 2. Your customer should stand errate but in a natural pose while measuring him/her 3. The measuring tape must not be twisted while measuring 4.
