My Boy Floated Away
Have you ever had anyone really close to you pass away? Have you ever felt like you didn’t know what to do next? Well I have and it all started on a sunny afternoon in the middle of July.

It was only a few minutes before my best friend and her mom showed up. It was her dads birthday and their entire family was over. I felt bad for interrupting, but they said I was like part of the family. They tried occupying me to get my mind off of things.
Three hours later we got a phone call from my mom,
she said it was time to come home. So, I said my goodbyes to everyone and thanked them again. The ride home was long and silent. Once we reached my house my best friend and... [continues]
