There are different points I want to make and cover in my research paper about Latino/Hispanic education in the United States. Here are some of them:

Influence of the environment, family, economic and legal status.

Thesis: There are different factors that influence the decision Latinos make when arriving to the United States in relation to their educational life, these include: adjustment to the language and the new environment,   the influence of the family, their economic and legal status here in the U.S. Some of these students either drop out and start working or keep on studying a get a degree.
My method
My method is a little different since when picked my topic I chose something I could be identified with and that is Latino/Hispanic Education

Most of the Latinos that arrive to the U.S decide to drop out of school and start working, however, some of them bring their credits from their native countries, learn the language and keep studying until the get a diploma or a degree.
Depending on the economic stability they get their high school diploma and then go to college to get their degree.
46% of the students take the rigorous curriculum in high school and are likely to enroll in a four year college.

Most of the time parents pay an important role in their education by making emphasis in the importance of education in the student’s life.
Economy: Low income- Drop out   out school and start working. High income- Keep studying and get a degree.
