ENERGY SAVING

What is energy?
Energy is the ability to do work. It exists in several forms such as heat, electric, light, sound, and many more. Energy is a very important thing in our daily life, that’s why living things cannot survive without energy. Someone said that energy cannot be created and destroyed, but energy can be wasted and used up, especially when we use it inappropriately and excessively. Moreover, some types of energy are not renewable. So, saving energy is needed to keep energy existance on earth.

What is energy saving?
Energy saving or energy conservation is something that refers to reducing energy consumption through using less of an energy service. With the nowadays technology and the amazing explosion of human population, requirement of energy is increasing a lot. Automatically, pollutant and temperature on earth is increasing too, which is headed to global warming, impact on living things’ life. So, using less energy has lots of benefits, you can save money and help the environment. Therefore, using less energy helps us to preserve these resources and make them last longer in the future.

Why do we need to save energy?
If people use less energy, there is less pressure to increase the available supply of energy, for example by constructing new power plants, or by importing energy from a different country. Whenever we save energy, we’re not only save money, we also reduce the demand. Less burning of fossil fuels also means lower emissions of carbon dioxide, the primary contributor to global warming, and other pollutants.

How to save energy?
There are many simple ways to save energy in our daily life. There are also many sources on web that give us ideas to conserve energy, like : •Think about “Back to Nature” methode, for example using sun light to brighten instead of using bulbs and using natural wind by open windows widely instead of using air conditioner •Reducing fossil-fuelled vehicle usage.
