Encountering Conflict
Conflict is an inherit part of life; it isn’t necessarily negative.
I am writing in response to the prompt ‘conflict is an inherit part of life; it isn’t necessarily negative. Based on my knowledge of the text, The Rugmaker of Mazar e Sharif I will write an expository piece in the form of an analytical essay to highlight to the readers that conflict isn’t necessarily negative. I have chosen to do this because I believe that conflict is a part of life as it can bring good and bad for individuals. The target audience for my discussion is young people, 16-18 years old, who are studying the text and keen to engage with ideas of conflict.
The text suggests several key ideas about conflict It demonstrates that conflict can make individuals work harder to achieve their dreams and can bring out the strength of the human spirit through a sense of hope. It also shows that conflict can sometimes be negative when it can lead to long lasting emotional trauma, when nothing is gained during conflict then it can said to be also negative. Historical events such as the civil rights movement and current events in the media show both the positives and negatives involved in conflict.
I have chosen to write in the form of an essay as it is the best way to explore the ideas and arguments related to this prompt. The language I have chosen is informal because it is best suitable for my audience as they can understand more clearly. I have also mentioned quotes in my essay to enhance my discussion and add interest for the reader.

Intro: conflict is an inherit part of life because as human beings we will always encounter conflict due to our different values, beliefs and ideas. The Rugmaker of Mazar e Sharif brings out the ideas of conflict being a part of life and not necessarily being negative. Conflict can be negative when individuals have nothing tangible to achieve from it such as the school shooting that resulted in the death of 26 individuals. It can also be negative when it

Since, conflict can happen everywhere, it is important to think about how does conflict happen. I believe, conflict happen when people take stand with their moral and values much better than other. This will lead to the conflict between doctors and other employees which affect hospital caring system. Conflict isn’t negative always, it also happens for positive. Conflict, whether we choose to admit it, is a part of life. Conflict may be sparse in a persons life, and most of which is over trivial things, but when faced with a conflict great enough, the very fibre of a persons being is tested, and how they react proves what kind of person they are. This testing only occurs when one is taken far from their comfort zones, and is such often difficult to see. This is not the case in regards to those involved in the witch trials of Salem in 1692.…

It is intrinsically human to experience conflict; thus, we will all be forced to respond to conflict at various times and in various forms throughout the course of our lives, and in order to live serenely we attempt to avoid and resolve conflict. Whilst conflict may simply involve two parties disagreeing over minor differences of opinion, we have seen throughout history that major conflicts in the form of war and international political unrest, lead many to experience horrific and life-changing conflicts of a larger scale. It's extraordinary the way in which we can be tested, and how we emerge from such harrowing circumstances. We begin to question not the battle itself- conflict has occurred and will occur again- but the human behaviour behind the conflict and our actions to such conditions. Those who experience conflict are truly tested and the core of their characters brought into sharp focus as they make sense of their experiences and those of the people around…
