A Slash of Blue

A slash of Blue -- A
A sweep of Gray -- B
Some scarlet patches on the way, B
Compose an Evening Sky -- C
A little purple -- slipped between -- D
Some Ruby Trousers hurried on -- E
A Wave of Gold -- F
A Bank of Day -- B
This just makes out the Morning Sky. C

A Wounded Deer -- leaps highest
