You can always add o restricts this time when they have something special to do or you need them to be home earlier.

Significance of the study
This research study is implemented to increase the awareness of each student as well as the whole St. Simon Montessori School institution about the possible effects (positive and negative) of curfew to the social standing of some selected high school students. It is anticipated that the information to be acquired in this study can effectively be assimilated by the institutions particularly the students.

According to the information that had been gathered by the researcher, curfew may affect the behaviour of the students. This curfew may affect the student’s behaviour in two ways – it’s positive and negative. The researcher concluded to know what are the good and bad effects of curfew to the students behaviour.

An order specifying a time after which certain regulations apply.

The Advantages of a Students' Curfew
While few students applaud the enforcement of a curfew, there are some solid advantages to consider when deciding whether to institute one for your school-aged children and teens.

Academic Edge
If your child is out at all hours of the night, there is little chance of him showing up for school in prime condition to learn. A students' curfew ensures that your child is home and able to get to bed at a decent hour. Another advantage of a students' curfew is the fact that they are home in time to finish some homework before getting some shut eye.

Parental Peace
All good parents worry about their kids when they are out with friends at night, regardless of how much they trust them to make the right choices. "Forbes" magazine reports that "Nationwide, 49% of fatal crashes happen at night, with a fatality rate per mile of travel about three times as high as daytime hours." A curfew greatly decreases the chances of your child being harmed in a car accident. It also diminishes temptations to indulge in drugs and alcohol, because students know their parents will still be up when they get home. Curfews therefore give parents increased peace of mind when it comes to the overall safety of their kids.

A students' curfew gives teens a sense of structure to their days and nights. When they must be home by a certain hour, students must develop their ability to plan, prioritize and act proactively within prescribed time boundaries. They will also learn the rewards and consequences of being on time, as they may earn trust or lose privileges based on their ability to make curfew.

Family Bonding
You can't get emotionally close to a teenager who is not physically present with you. Today's economy has forced many households to generate two incomes, which means parents are often gone when their kids wake up in the morning, and aren't back home until after 5 or 6 p.m. If evenings are the only time you have to talk with your child about his day, you will come to love the family bonding benefits that a students' curfew makes possible.

Disadvantages of Teen Curfews
Curfews are often useful means of enforcing some sort of order on kids' social lives. That being said, teenagers are a different story. For the most part, teens are rational people that are capable of making a variety of important decisions on their own....
